Flowers Anyone? Why not share those perennial beauties that are taking over your backyard?

Bear Creek Community Charter School is seeking donations of perennials starting September 21, 2009, for use in our new backyard garden. The garden will provide yet another outdoor, hands-on classroom where students can learn about the life cycles and benefits of flowers and other plants in our environment.

Perennials can be dropped off near the front porch (outside to the side of the steps) of the white house to the right of the School. We ask that plants are left in bags or containers and are clearly marked what kind of plant they are. This will help us to determine where they are placed within the garden. Now is an excellent time of the year to thin out your own garden. What a great way to show your support for the educational process at the school!

If you would like to help in the garden, or for more information, contact Mrs. Paula Longo at 820-4070.
