The Bear Creek Community Charter School PTO meetings begin at 6:00 p.m. in the School Cafeteria. Everyone is welcome! Meetings are generally held the second Wednesday of every month.

PTO Membership

Each year, the PTO provides many events such as field trips, a Holiday Bazaar, Field Day and the Spring Festival. These are wonderful activities that compliment the hands-on educational process that gets Bear Creek Community Charter School students excited about going to school and learning! However, to participate in the planning, as well as sharing in the enjoyment of these activities with your children, you must be an active member of the Bear Creek Community Charter School PTO. Homeroom Parents

Classroom Volunteers

If you would like to volunteer to help in your child's classroom, ask your child's teacher for the name of the "Homeroom Parent". The Homeroom Parent will be the PTO designee for each clasroom that will work with parents to coordinate parties, activities, and other classroom volunteer opportunities.

NOTICE: Volunteer Requirements

All volunteers, including chaperones on field trips, are required to have an acceptable Pennsylvania State Police Background Check and Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance Report on file with the School Office. Under no circumstance can a parent volunteer within the School or attend a field trip without both clearances on file. There will be no exceptions to this requirement, so get your clearances early and submit a copy to Rosanne Hartwigsen in the School Office.
