Bear Creek Community Charter School
We Recycle Cardboard!

The Bear Creek Community Charter School receives deliveries of supplies, food, books, and much more on a daily basis. Most of these items are shipped to the school in cardboard boxes. In an effort to do our part in preserving and protecting our environment, the students and staff break down all the cardboard boxes in preparation for recycling.

Each week our custodian, Mr. Bella, transports all the broken down cardboard to the local recycling center where it is weighed and prepared for reprocessing into new things!

This is a school-wide effort that saves a great deal of cardboard from ending up in the local landfill where it doesn't belong.

We even reuse some of the cardboard for school projects and activities!
